Group interaction between real and virtual

Systems developed within eRENA allow groups of people in the real world to interact together with virtual creatures in an electronic environment. This idea was demonstrated in the dome architecture of the large-scale Extended Virtual Environment (EVE). Groups moving around inside an EVE dome were intelligently tracked using a vision system and in this way interacted with imagery of a virtual deep-sea world projected on the interior surface. The real users also interacted with a small crowd of virtual humans.
